An American Life

Is it a feeling of nationalism that makes me believe that an American's life is worth more than anther person's? A feeling of "hey, that's my brother, an American." But then I believe that other countries think that there citizens are worth more than any other. What is the value of an American life to other countries? When a someone wants to get attention they kill our citizens. We result to violence so quickly.
